Varieties described derived from various species, to sum up, we will distinguish plums Chinese-Japanese type, and  Europeans plums; the first one, more sensitive to spring frosts which usually have large aromatic fruits and succulent, the second, less sensitive to frost because the late flowering, are more rustic and have a sweet consistent fruit. Plum is well suited for all terrains, also tolerates those wetlands without being stagnant


PRUNING: Make just a very light pruning to maintain the shape and hollow out the center of the tree. Several varieties self sterile, only fruiting in presence of other pollinating varieties of the same group (10 % of presence). Plantation surface 5x3 to 4x5 m.
